On the day you lose your item

Visiting the Keisei Lost and Found Center

All items found on the Keisei Skyliner are eventually taken to the Keisei Lost and Found Center located at Keisei Takasago Station. Here’s what you need to know:

If you’re planning to visit the center, it’s a 16 to 27-minute journey from Keisei Ueno Station on the Keisei Line.

What happens to lost items

Please note that lost items are kept for a certain period after which they are handed over to the police as per regulations. So, it’s advisable to act quickly when you realize that you’ve lost something.  Tokyo Police Lost and Found will keep lost and found property for a few months.

What are some of the items that cannot be shipped overseas?

There are some items that cannot be sent because of customs regulations or safety reasons. For examples, lithium ion batteries that are not integrated part of some devices, chargers lithium ion are not accept neither by Japan Post or courier companies. Also, medicines are not accepted for transportation.

Can you ship iPhone and iPad?

Yes, iPhones and iPads can be shipped by declaring properly. Can you ship AirPods. Japan Post does not accept AirPods or any other kinds of earphones with lithium ion batteries inside. DHL accept them with proper declaration of the batteries inside though certain agents like us.

How long does Keisei Lost and Found Office keep my lost and found property?

They keep them for about 10 days and after that lost and found property will be transferred to Tokyo Police Lost and Found. Since more documents are required for retrieving from Tokyo Police Lost and Found Office, it is recommended to try to retrieve from Keisei Lost and Found Office.
